Indelible Partners with Max Lucado on 3:16 Releases
Media Company to Release Companion CD & DVD to New Lucado Book
FRANKLIN, Tenn., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Indelible Creative Group has released two companion media products to "3:16 -- The Numbers of Hope," the new book from New York Times Best-selling Author, Max Lucado. The CD and DVD released 9/11/07, part of Lucado's effort to replace "9/11 -- the numbers of terror" with "3:16 -- the numbers of hope," are part of an unprecedented product launch from Thomas Nelson Publishers, exceeding one million copies in its initial shipment.
"3:16 -- Songs of Hope" (CD) features award-winning recording artists Jars of Clay, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, Sandi Patty, Travis Cottrell, Jeff Deyo and many more sharing musical tributes to the timeless message of John 3:16. Also included on "3:16 -- Songs of Hope" is a new recording by Dove Award-winning recording artist Jaci Velasquez. The first single from the project, "Loved By You," is currently spinning on Christian AC radio stations, marking Velasquez's return to the music scene after a three- year break. The album also features Velasquez's "God So Loved," a song Lucado says inspired his interest in writing a book about John 3:16.
"3:16 -- Stories of Hope" (DVD) features "Wherever You Are," an original short film written by Max Lucado, plus twelve exclusive video features with Max Lucado exploring the life-changing message of John 3:16. On the DVD, Lucado takes us deeper into what he calls the "Hope Diamond of the Bible," John 3:16. He encourages viewers to consider the unequalled appeal of this verse, "Brief enough to write on a napkin or memorize in a moment, yet solid enough to weather two thousand years of storms and questions." Each segment corresponds with a chapter in "3:16 -- The Numbers of Hope."
"Wherever You Are" tells a story of rebellion and redemption and was produced in partnership with Triple Horse Entertainment. Co-Executive Produced by Indelible President Chris Thomason this 17-minute film follows the life of a spirited teenager who finds herself alone in a seedy underworld where the only thing that will save her is the love of her father.
"We are honored to partner with Max in this mission of spreading the very important message of John 3:16," says Thomason. "We believe this message of hope will be the catalyst for many to come into relationship with God and these products will help facilitate communication of the 3:16 message with a relevant and unique experience."
The "3:16 -- Stories of Hope" DVD will be the first product released through Indelible's new partnership with LIONSGATE Entertainment for the general market. Word Distribution will handle CBA distribution for the DVD along with "3:16 -- Songs of Hope" (CD). The CD will be distributed through WEA for the general markets.
Other partners in this monumental product launch include a literal Who's Who of Christian publishing and merchandising. Beginning with Thomas Nelson Publishers, who will release the flagship trade book "3:16 The Numbers of Hope" and a number of other ancillary products under the 3:16 name. Along with Indelible Creative Group (media products), Thomas Nelson joins with LifeWay (church curriculum and musical), Hallmark/Dayspring (greeting cards and gift products), Kerusso (branded apparel) and Bob Siemon Designs (Jewelry).
In addition to a launch-week media and retail tour that begins on 9/11/2007, Max Lucado will host a national simulcast event on March 16, 2008 (3-16-08) featuring recording artists from "3:16 -- Songs of Hope," followed by an international broadcast event one week later on Easter Sunday. These outreach events will serve as a rallying point for churches interested in sharing this message with their communities.
