Cablevision Adds The Jewish Channel to on Demand Lineup Throughout New York Metropolitan Area
The 12th Subscription Video On Demand Option For iO(R) TV Customers, The Jewish Channel Delivers Award-Winning Jewish Cultural Content
BETHPAGE, N.Y., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cablevision Systems Corp. (NYSE:CVC) announced today the addition of The Jewish Channel as a new subscription video on demand (SVOD) option for iO TV digital cable customers. The Jewish Channel, available through the iO user interface or on Channel 291, gives cable customers unlimited access to a variety of programs focused on Jewish culture, and includes the ability to pause, fast-forward and rewind.
The Jewish Channel programming will contain a mix of films, documentaries, talk shows, comedy, political commentary shows, cooking programs, sports, children's programs, and holiday specials all with a Jewish theme or connection.

The Jewish Channel will be available for $4.95 per month to all Broadcast Basic customers and above who have a digital cable set-top box. Customers interested in subscribing to The Jewish Channel can access the channel via Channel 291 or from the Optimum Service Upgrade Portal on channel 900.
