3D Entertainment's Mantello Brothers to Present Daryl Hannah With Reef Check's Reef Rescuer 2007 Award

Fundraiser will feature a sneak preview of 3D Entertainment's new IMAX (R) 3D theatre film, 'DOLPHINS & WHALES 3D: Tribes of the Ocean'

MALIBU, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- 3D Entertainment Ltd. is pleased to announce that its chairman, Francois Mantello, and Jean-Jacques Mantello, the director of the Company's unique ocean conservation-themed film trilogy for IMAX (R) 3D theatres, will present the Reef Rescuer Award to Hollywood star and environmentalist Daryl Hannah for her dedicated support and advocacy of reef and ocean conservation at Reef Check's 5th annual Reef Rescue gala on Sunday, September 16th.

Internationally renowned marine biologist, former chief scientist of the US National Oceanographic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and current National Geographic "Explorer-in-Residence" Dr. Sylvia Earle will also be honored at the event with the Poseidon Award for her lifetime achievements in marine conservation.

Held in benefit of the Reef Check Foundation, a non profit organization established in 1997 to reverse the coral reef crisis and to facilitate ocean conservation on a global scale, the charity event will feature a sneak preview of 3D Entertainment's upcoming film, DOLPHINS & WHALES 3D: Tribes of the Ocean. The stunning underwater documentary will be released at IMAX (R) 3D Theatres as of February 2008 in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme and its North American office (RONA).

After the popular OCEAN WONDERLAND 3D in 2003 and SHARKS 3D in 2005, DOLPHINS & WHALES 3D: Tribes of the Ocean marks the final chapter in the company's unique trilogy of ocean-themed documentaries produced exclusively for IMAX (R) 3D Theatres. This latest film will take audiences on an extraordinary dive with the surviving ocean tribes and allow them to join these cetaceans in their daily activities: interacting socially, feeding, migrating and perpetually fighting for their survival. Principal photography was completed last month and required no less than three years, 12 diving expeditions and 600 hours underwater in some of the remotest locations on earth.
