Triomphe Communications Announces Heber Holiday Premiering at Temecula International Film Festival

SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Triomphe Communications is proud to announce McKay Daines' romantic comedy Heber Holiday has been selected to premiere at the Temecula International Film Festival September 12-16. The 13 year old acclaimed film festival is excited Heber Holiday is a part of its all star feature film line up. The plot for Heber Holiday seems to be ripped out of today's headlines as it follows the story of a fictional, out of control actress Sierra Young, who is sent by her producer and controlling mother to a rehab clinic in the mountains of Utah. When she escapes to the sleepy town of Heber she joins a play company incognito and meets strange and wonderful people who change her life for the better.

Inspired by his life long love of the classic film Roman Holiday, McKay Daines, co-wrote the script with his brother Cameron Daines, and directed the film last December in Utah. Daines produced the film with Brent Giesler and his partner in Flynn-Daines Productions, Michael Flynn. The film stars Torrey DeVitto (Beautiful People TV series) as Sierra Young and KC Clyde (The Dance) as Tyler, the Yale drama student who returns to Heber to restore his ancestor's playhouse and care for his grandmother. Additionally, Erin Chambers stars as the "romantic girl next door" in love with Tyler who runs the playhouse and is directing Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew.

Actor and radio personality Jimmy Chunga (101.9 The End, Taking Five) plays a fictional private investigator Hound in Heber Holiday. Michael Birkeland celebrated stand up comedian and actor (The Home Teachers, Singles Ward) stars as wannabe filmmaker who realizes Sierra Young's true identity and tries to secretly film a "tell all" documentary for tabloid TV. Other stars include Jodi Russell as Sierra's controlling mother, and basketball star and actor Thurl Baily.

Triomphe Communications INC produced the film in association with Flynn-Daines Productions LLC. Triomphe Communications is in pre-production on an action comedy Return of the Ripper, written by McKay Daines and Jimmy Chunga and to be produced and directed by McKay Daines.

McKay Daines' film The Dance was released in theatres April 6, 2007 and on DVD September 25, 2007.
