Needy Children Shop for School Clothes With Police Officers
Shop with a Cop program will serve 220 kids across metro area
The Salvation Army is teaming up with local law enforcement from across the metro area to provide clothing and school supplies to hundreds of needy children.
Through The Salvation Army's Shop with a Cop program, 220 kids will shop with police officers at Wal-Mart stores and receive $100 worth of new clothes, plus school supplies.
Six Shop with a Cop events will run throughout August. Breakfast will be provided.
Shop with a Cop is being promoted by BOB 106 FM.
Shop with a Cop needs financial support. Monetary donations are being accepted by clicking on "Shop with a Cop" at http://www.thesalarmy.org/. Checks designated "Shop with a Cop" can be mailed to 2445 Prior Ave., Roseville, MN 55113.
IMPORTANT: Shop with a Cop is not open to the public. Each date/time should not be released to the public until after it has occurred.
