BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Music booking agencies Monterey Peninsula Artists and Little Big Man Booking will join forces beginning Monday, August 13th, and take on the name of their parent company, Paradigm.

The union gives Paradigm world-class music operations in Monterey, New York, Nashville and Beverly Hills. The Paradigm Music Division is dedicated to the music careers of its clients, who include; Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Toby Keith, The Black Eyed Peas, Avril Lavigne, Fergie, The Fray, Aerosmith, Snow Patrol, The Black Crowes, Arctic Monkeys, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Sarah McLachlan, O.A.R., India.Arie, Interpol, Phil Lesh & Friends, David Gray, Lyle Lovett, Barenaked Ladies, Montgomery Gentry, Jason Mraz, k.d. lang, Dido, Damian Rice, Chris Issak, Carol King and The Doobie Brothers.

Paradigm acquired Monterey Peninsula Artists in January of 2005 and Little Big Man Booking in September of 2006. The two agencies kept their respective names and operated their businesses independently, reporting to Paradigm chairman Sam Gores.

In Monterey, Chip Hooper will head up the Paradigm Music Division's West Coast operations with the support of his trusted colleagues Jonathan Levine and Monterey Peninsula Artists co-founders Fred Bohlander and Dan Weiner. Marty Diamond and Larry Webman, who founded Little Big Man Booking, will head up the Division's East Coast operations. Curt Motley will manage the day to day operations in Nashville.

Monterey Peninsula Artists was established by Dan Weiner and Fred Bohlander, Pollstar magazines 3-time Agent of the Year, in Monterey California, having left behind the fast paced Los Angeles lifestyle where they had established themselves as two of the top music agents in the business. Starting with a few clients, the two grew Monterey Peninsula Artists into a respected and formidable music agency, earning the Pollstar Agency of the Year Award nine times, thanks in large measure to their work and that of 4- time Pollstar Agent of the Year Chip Hooper, and Jonathan Levine.

Marty Diamond and Larry Webman created Little Big Man Booking in 1994, based out of a closet they shared as an office, and went on to build the company into a premiere music agency. Little Big Man Booking has won the Pollstar Boutique Agency of the Year award 11 of the last 12 years, and Diamond was named Pollstar's Agent of the Year in 1997.

SAID SAM GORES, CHAIRMAN OF PARADIGM:

"This is an important moment for Paradigm, as it is perhaps the strongest statement yet of our rapid ascension into the ranks of the top agencies in the entertainment industry. Over the past two and a half years, Chip, Marty, Dan, Fred, Jonathan, Larry and I have worked intimately together and have developed a deep and lasting mutual respect that makes this change very easy for everyone. The excellence for which these two music agencies have become renowned for will only be enhanced by their combination. From a structural standpoint, this will be a seamless transition with only the name on the door changing; everything else that artists, managers and the greater music industry have come to appreciate about Monterey Peninsula Artists and Little Big Man Booking will remain the same."

SAID CHIP HOOPER

"For me it's always been about our artists, agents and staff and to now be associated with the wonderful artists, agents and staff of Little Big Man makes our company that much more exciting to be a part of. I am extremely excited about the future possibilities that this new relationship makes possible."

SAID MARTY DIAMOND and LARRY WEBMAN

Says Marty Diamond, "I am excited about the opportunities that our combined forces will present, and am looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship." Larry Webman adds, "it's not only a pleasure but a great honor to work with such a well respected group of agents."

SAID JONATHAN LEVINE

"Monterey Peninsula Artists has continued to develop, grow and excel these last few years working with Sam Gores and his team at Paradigm. Combining us with Little Big Man, with their great staff and phenomenal roster and becoming one with Paradigm, is a wondrous thing and I am honored to be a part of it."

SAID DAN WEINER and FRED BOHLANDER

"This transition to the Paradigm name gives us the opportunity to spend a little more time pursuing Artists that we can give more time to. Plus, it gives Chip (Hooper), Jonathan (Levine), Marty (Diamond) and Larry (Webman) a chance to step up to the plate and have a say in the larger situation and get more deeply involved with all our clients."
