WHAT: Leading international media consultancy company, MediaXchange is heading to Reykjavik, Iceland to host "Outside 'The Box,'" a new Icelandic initiative produced specifically to provide insight into the various methods of the US creative model, sharing strategies and information, a new foundation to boost the production of strong drama series in Iceland. WHEN: Starting August 22nd through the 24th WHO: Opening day of "Outside 'The Box'" will feature U.S creative executives David Zucker, President of Scott Free Productions (The Company, NUMB3RS, and Carol Flint -- Executive Producer (ER, West Wing & The Unit). The day will outline the key elements of creative writing and development for writers, producers and channel executives. Joining Zucker and Flint will be Laurie Hutzler, writer and creator of The Emotional Toolbox(R). The second and third days of the event will feature Hutzler addressing the creative issues challenging writers and producers in developing drama that will engage their audiences. In parallel, Zucker and Flint will take part in selected one-on-one sessions for writers, producers, and channel executives to work with these professionals on their individual projects.
