Regent Communications Appoints Larry Downes to Vice President - Technology and Digital Media
CINCINNATI, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Regent Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGCI) today announced the appointment of Larry Downes to the newly created position of Vice President -- Technology and Digital Media. In addition to overseeing Regent's IT infrastructure, Mr. Downes will direct Regent's integrated online strategy which is focused on expanding the Company's radio station brands and content into the digital world.
Downes is a marketing professional with over 14 years of experience in the new media and broadcasting industries. He has a substantial track record in combining Internet technologies with marketing initiatives to drive listenership, web traffic and sales. Downes was most recently the National Group Director of Integrated Media at Saga Communications and was previously Director of New Media for Susquehanna Radio in Indianapolis.
