NEW YORK, Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Singer/songwriter Emerson Hart jets off to Hollywood for a series of national TV appearances and a night singing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to promote his first solo release CIGARETTES & GASOLINE (3 stars USA TODAY).
The first single "If You're Gonna Leave" is quickly climbing the Hot AC radio charts as Hart wraps up the video for same. Shot in Los Angeles, the video reflects Hart's enthusiastic support of animal adoptions and was partially shot in, and features a few dogs from, a local LA animal shelter. Owner to four rescued dogs himself, Hart will run a PSA in support of animal adoptions at the end of the video.
A deeply personal and introspective album, CIGARETTES & GASOLINE, treats listeners to the same well-crafted songwriting that powered the Tonic smash hit "If You Could Only See" and delves into the unsolved murder of Hart's father when he was only 10.
