'Blonde and Blonder' Announces Distribution Deal With Canada's Remstar Distribution, Inc.

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Malibu Entertainment Group (MEG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Orbit Brands Corporation announced today Canadian Global Media has a distribution deal with Remstar Distribution, Inc. for the Canadian distribution rights for the Pamela Anderson / Denise Richards comedy "Blonde and Blonder."

Montreal-based Remstar will handle all distribution in Canada for the film including theatrical, DVD and television. Remstar is one of Canada's leading independent suppliers of quality programming to the Canadian marketplace. This successful operation allows for 15 theatrical films per year. Moreover, as a result of their partnership with Alliance Atlantis, Remstar continues as one of the key providers of quality entertainment in Canada.

MEG is a media and entertainment company specializing in film and television projects and the development of ancillary marketing rights. "Blonde and Blonder" was produced and directed by Dean Hamilton and the film was finished and ready for distribution prior to MEG's May 2007 acquisition of a 15% interest in the film. The film was produced by Canadian Global Media and Insight Film Studios in Vancouver and is being distributed internationally by Rigel Entertainment.
