blinkx signs partnership with Michael Eisner's Vuguru to broadcast network-caliber series online
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- blinkx, the world's largest video search engine, today announced a content agreement with Vuguru, Michael Eisner's independent new media studio. Under the terms of the agreement, blinkx will host and distribute the sequel to the successful Web drama, "Prom Queen" which debuted in April, and will share revenue with Vuguru based on number of views.
Effective today, "Prom Queen: Summer Heat" will be available for free at http://www.blinkx.com/, with new two-minute episodes appearing daily during the series' run.
