Starworks Productions' The Rockimals(TM) Selected for 2007 Annual Telly Awards and Awarded Dove Foundation's Highest Award

Starworks Productions' The Rockimals(TM) Selected for 2007 Annual Telly Awards and Awarded Dove Foundation's Highest Award

NASSAU, Bahamas, July 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Starworks Productions announced today that its productions of The Rockimals(TM) Volume 1, "60s Rock n Roll," and The Rockimals(TM) Volume 2, "70s Classical Hits," have been selected for the 2007 Telly Awards and have also received The Dove Foundation's highest award - 5 Doves.

Founded in 1978, The Telly Awards (http://www.tellyawards.com/) is the premiere award honoring the finest video and film productions in the world. Previous inductees include Nickelodeon, Disney and Hallmark. The Dove Foundation (http://www.dove.org/) is a nonprofit pro-family organization established to encourage and promote the creation, production, distribution and consumption of wholesome family entertainment. The Foundation, free from commercial pressures, awards a blue and white Dove Seal to any movie or video that is rated "family-friendly" by its film review board.

The late Steve Allen, entertainer and Dove advisor, called the Dove Seal, "the Good Housekeeping Seal for family entertainment."

"Having The Rockimals recognized by the Telly Awards and as 'Family- Approved' by the Dove Foundation is extremely gratifying," said Frank Gianotti, Producer of The Rockimals. "Our goal was to develop an exciting venue to entertain kids while equally attracting parents and grandparents with the music from past generations. We will continue to incorporate creative ways of introducing popular styles and genres of music to preschoolers with the idea of being a program suited for the entire family. The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries each year and The Rockimals was selected for awards in ten categories. The Dove Seal sets the industry standard for family entertainment. We are proud to have The Rockimals included in these exclusive groups."

"I am delighted that The Rockimals continues to receive such special recognition," said V. James Zenga, Executive Producer of Starworks Productions and Chairman and CEO of StarCapital Corp., parent company of Starworks Productions. "The Telly Awards recognizes The Rockimals among this year's best productions, both nationally and internationally and the Dove Seal acknowledges that The Rockimals represents clean, wholesome, quality entertainment, free from offensive material. This recognition complements the iParenting Media Awards (http://www.iparentingmediaawards.com/) received last month and our selection into the Kids First Film Festival. The Rockimals continue to distinguish itself even in advance of the release of its DVDs into the market."
