NEW YORK, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- SCP Worldwide, the New York based sports, media and entertainment company, today announced that it has reached an agreement with Miami based, GolTV to assist on the sales, marketing and distribution of the prestigious South American 2010 World Cup Qualifying matches it owns the exclusive multi-platform rights to in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and U.S. Territories.

"Over the course of the last few months we have developed a wonderful relationship with GolTV management and are very impressed with their knowledge of the soccer market and operations expertise," said David W. Checketts, chairman, SCP Worldwide. "While we have had tremendous interest for the package from many different outlets, this partnership will allow us to utilize GolTV's expertise in the marketplace as we continue to explore the most compelling ways to maximize the value that this valuable programming asset holds."

The package, which includes games from the South American Federations, who have won more World Cups in the past 13 tournaments than any other continent and includes such world powerhouses -- Brazil and Argentina. SCP Worldwide owns all over-the-air, cable, satellite, broadband/internet, wireless, video- on-demand, PPV, DVD and downloadable device rights to each match.

The qualifying matches begin in October 2007 and last through November 2009.
