Comcast and Alterna'TV Present the Best Mexican Movies on Video on Demand With Mi Cine
D.F., MEXICO and PHILADELPHIA, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast-the nation's leading provider of cable, entertainment, and communications products and services--together with Alterna'TV-one of the largest channel distributors of Latin American television in the United States-has announced the launch of Mi Cine on Comcast. The movie service showcases one of the largest libraries of Mexican cinema and will be available exclusively to all Cable Latino de Comcast subscribers through its video-on-demand (VOD) service beginning July 20, 2007.
The Mi Cine service will feature 30 hours of content a month with action- packed movies, dramas, comedies, romance and popular "rancheras" from the 1930 to today. The films showcase all of the biggest stars in Mexican cinema including Pedro Infante, Mario Moreno Cantinflas, Pedro Armendariz, Maribel Guardia, Vicente Fernandez, Rafael Inclan, Lorena Herrera, Andres Garcia, Veronica Castro and Pedrito Fernandez among many others.
