XOGO(TM) Electronic Gamecard Spearheads Clear Channel's TV Viewership Drive at WJTC TV UPN-44

NEW YORK, October 14/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Electronic Game Card, Inc (OTCBB: EGMI), the US rewards based games company, today confirmed that Alabama's WJTC-TV UPN-44 is to use the XOGO(TM) electronic GameCard in a major month long promotion to increase viewership for the station's 5pm-7pm program schedule. The promotion is set to break late October and run for 28 days. WJTC TV UPN-44 is owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications.

Targeting the 18-34 female audience, XOGO(TM) GameCards are to be given to 10 of the station's major advertisers for distribution to the public. Cardholders will then be able to play their XOGO(TM) electronic GameCard each day of the promotion. The winning number sequence for the day will be revealed during the 5pm-7pm early evening schedule. Holders of winning numbers will be able to redeem their Xogo GameCard by logging onto the station's website the following day with an overall prize winner announced on the final day of the promotion.

Michelle Ritter, Multi-Media Director at WPMI-NBC15 and WJTC-UPN44, commented:

"Our focus at the station is to engage fully with our audience. And for today's modern viewer that means having a two-way, interactive relationship. The XOGO(TM) provides an ideal, entertaining-to-play, medium through which to achieve this goal."

Approximately the size of a US driver's license and weighing less than half an ounce, the XOGO(TM) GameCard features LCD windows in which numbers can be spun daily by the user pressing touch pads on the card. All XOGO(TM) GameCards feature proprietary technology incorporating sophisticated prize checking security codes - the GameCards having been approved by international insurers and used by US lottery organizations.

John Bentley, Chairman of Electronic Game Card, Inc, commented:

"We are delighted to see XOGO(TM) GameCards being validated in the TV sector by a major television channel. It builds on the success that the GameCards have had to date in the radio promotion arena where response rates have run at an impressive 38%."

Based in Mobile, AL/Pensacola, FL, WJTC-TV UPN-44 is part of Clear Channel, the US's 8th largest media owner comprising over 30 television channels and 1200 radio stations. Programs in WJTC's 5pm-7pm schedule will include My Wife & Kids, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, and That 70's Show.
