WorldSpace Announces Timing for Third Quarter Earnings and Conference Call

SILVER SPRING, Md., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WorldSpace, Inc., (NASDAQ:WRSP), one of the world leaders in satellite-based digital radio services, announced today that the Company expects to release results for the third quarter of 2005 ended September 30, 2005, after the close of the market on Monday, November 7, 2005. The Company plans to host a conference call and webcast to discuss those results that day at 4:30 p.m., Eastern Time. Noah Samara, chairman and chief executive officer, and Sridhar Ganesan, chief financial officer, will host the conference call.
