British-born (but not proper) chef and TV personality Jon Ashton, based in Orlando, will be in town next week to meet with Boston Public School cafeteria managers and staff as part of National School Lunch Week. Ashton's UK restaurant success led to TV appearances in the UK and then in the US on "The Tonight Show" and then his own show "The Mad Chef." He appears weekly on central Florida television and is CEO of Jon Ashton Enterprises, providing professional recipe creations and demonstrations nationwide.
