New Poll Shows U.S. Adults Strongly Favor and Value New Medical Technologies in Their Doctor's Office
A new Wall Street Journal Online/Harris Interactive Health-Care Poll shows that while only a minority of U-S adults has experience with new medical technologies such as electronic medical records and digital imaging equipment in their doctor's office, vast majorities are in favor of having their doctors adopt new technologies in their practices. Furthermore, a large number of adults believe new medical technologies will either reduce the costs of medical care or are worth the investment because they will improve the quality of care.

President Bush at Lowest Job Performance Rating Says Sacred Heart University National Poll
President George Bush in October received his lowest positive job performance rating recorded by the Sacred Heart University Polling Institute. According to the national poll, the President's favorable job performance rating is 42 percent. This is down from 52 percent in April 2005. President Bush had a 57 percent approval rating in April 2004, 53 percent in February 2004, 58 percent in October 2003, 78 percent in April 2003 and 65 percent in March 2003.
