'We are the Champions' By Legendary Rock Band Queen Voted World's Favorite Song in the Walkman(TM) Phones 100 Global Poll

With more than 700-thousand people voting worldwide, "We are the Champions" by Queen was crowned number one in the first global search for the world's top song. Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones 100 global poll identified the top 100 songs of all time and created a worldwide soundtrack to coincide with the launch of Sony Ericsson's new family of Walkman phones. "We are the Champions" was released by Queen in 1977 but lives on as the world's favorite song. Only One-Third of Women Take Vitamin to Help Prevent Serious Birth Defects, Survey Finds

Only one-third of childbearing age women are taking a multivitamin containing the B vitamin folic acid daily to prevent serious birth defects of the brain and spine in their future babies, according to a decade of March of Dimes surveys. Daily use of folic acid has not shown a substantial increase between 1995 and 2005 despite nationwide educational efforts by the March of Dimes and other agencies.

The Hartford's New Survey Exposes Life Insurance Gap: Many Express Need, But Don't Act to Protect Families

The Hartford's recently-completed 2005 Life Insurance Literacy Study shows that Americans believe life insurers are offering important products to help them reach their financial goals. That's the good news. But Americans also admit to scant understanding of life insurance, and buying it doesn't top their financial "to-do" lists. That's the bad news. Nearly two-thirds of the 750 consumers surveyed by The Hartford Financial Services Group said life insurance is "extremely" or "very important." Because they consider it so important, they also have high expectations. From results of the survey, nearly nine out of 10 expect life insurance benefits to allow their family to maintain their standard of living, keep their partner from having to work, cover major medical expenses, and pay college expenses. But 44 percent, conversely, admitted their coverage lagged behind their hopes. The typical coverage among respondents was 130-thousand dollars.
