Martha and KitchenAid Shower Brides With a Gift That Gives Twice

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- A studio audience of nearly 200 brides-to-be appearing on today's "Martha" reacted with dropped jaws, followed by cheers and applause when host Martha Stewart presented each with a special gift that supports the fight against breast cancer.

The gift, a pink KitchenAid(R) Stand Mixer, is part of a collection of pink kitchen gear that has raised over $3 million for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition to providing the gifts to help generate awareness of its ongoing Cook for the Cure(R) fundraising program, KitchenAid made a donation of $50 to the Komen Foundation on behalf of each recipient.

The mixer and other pink countertop appliances will be featured on the show's set throughout October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
