The Jagermeister Music Tour Is Coming! Disturbed To Headline!

The Jagermeister Music Tour Is Coming! Disturbed To Headline!

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The ever-growing, ever-raging Jagermeister Music Tour is set to charge this fall. This time out, Disturbed leads the assault. Corrosion of Conformity serves as direct support on the first leg of the Tour and Bloodsimple will do the honors on the second leg. Each night a Jagermeister-sponsored band will open the show.

Disturbed, the Windy City's alt-metal rockers, will unleash their raw, thundering attack throughout the multi-city tour, now in its fifth year. Disturbed will be touring in celebration of the release of their third album, Ten Thousand Fists (Warner Bros.), which debuted at #1 on Billboard's charts with sales of over 240,000 its first week out.

"I really respect what Jagermeister has done on previous tours," says singer David Draiman, "so now that we're doing our first headlining tour in two years, we want it to be the Jagermeister Music Tour. We're psyched to be headlining. I'm a huge fan of the drink, and there's no doubt that Disturbed and Jagermeister are a perfect mix."

Says Rick Zeiler, Director of Marketing & Brand Development for Sidney Frank Importing Co., Inc., the importers of Jagermeister, "Jagermeister is thrilled to be working with Disturbed! We've been fans of their music for years, and now we finally get the chance to showcase them on the Jagermeister Music tour!"

Since 1982, New Orleans' Corrosion of Conformity has been rocking it the hard way. According to Kerrang, "COC are in a league of their own, and with so many mediocre, identikit, mall-metal bands in 2005, we need them now more than ever." Their powerful 2005 release, In the Arms of God, is a return to their hardcore sound of 20 years ago. Says bassist Mike Dean, "We're excited about this tour and thankful for the opportunity to play for the people."

Bloodsimple rose from the ashes of the acclaimed metal-core band, Vision of Disorder. The band shows a bold disregard for genre constraints in its debut album, A Cruel World (Warner Bros.). Bloodsimple has been charging into the limelight after a stellar performance with Mudvayne. Ever since, they have been known for their incendiary live shows which should be right at home on the Tour.

In the great tradition of the Jagermeister Music Tour, the ticket price will be kept in the $30 range, ensuring plenty of bang for the buck. Fans can expect great Jagermeister prizes and giveaways like the Jagermeister Compilation CDs with live and unreleased tracks from Jagermeister bands as well as plenty of Jagermeister shirts, hats, and other prizes and giveaways from Tour sponsors Schecter Guitars, Peavey Electronics, and Coffin Case.*

The Jagermeister Music Tour will be advertised in print and on radio. For more information, check out www.JagermeisterMusicTour.com. Get ready to rock!
