SOiL Signs to DRT Entertainment

NEW YORK, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago's SOiL has signed an exclusive recording deal with New York-based DRT Entertainment. The band will head to Los Angeles next month to begin recording their new album which is currently slated for release in early 2006. Ulrich Wild has been tapped as producer.

Derek Shulman is the former CEO of Roadrunner Records. Prior to that, Mr. Shulman served as a VP at Polygram and President of Atco. During his career, he has been integral in signing many major rock acts including Pantera, AC/DC, and Bon Jovi.
