CINCINNATI, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The E. W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP) will provide a live webcast of an investor conference it is hosting in New York on Sept. 20.

Members of the company's management team will be discussing business strategy, marketing, brand-building initiatives and other aspects of the company's diverse portfolio of media businesses.

The webcast will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT via the company's Web site at www.scripps.com. The investor conference is being held at the studios of the Food Network. An audio archive of the investor conference will be available via the Scripps Web site approximately one hour after the presentation.
