Elevator Channel's Rudy Alexander Wins 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year

Charlotte Chamber recognizes Alexander's leadership in managing a unique private enterprise

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Rudy Alexander, chief executive, president and co-founder of the Elevator Channel, has won the Charlotte Chamber's 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his role in creating the company's unique elevator-based advertising, news, information and entertainment network.

The award, which has been granted by the Chamber for 22 years, recognizes entrepreneurs who have turned their dreams and inspirations into successful businesses. The winners were announced on Wednesday, September 14th at the Westin Charlotte, with more than 700 guests in attendance. Alexander was one of three finalists eligible for the award in the category of companies with 11 to 35 employees.

Since the company's inception in 2001, Alexander's efforts have been focused on developing a unique information network that would be engaging, entertaining and informative. According to Alexander, the company has achieved that goal.
