HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Hot off the success of three standing ovations at the Venice, Deauville, and Toronto Film Festivals, writer-director Cameron Crowe's new film, "Elizabethtown," made its U.S. premiere over the weekend in the region that inspired the film.

On Saturday, September 17, following a lunchtime barbeque in Elizabethtown, Kentucky -- the film's namesake -- Crowe and Orlando Bloom, the star of the film, joined special guests for a red-carpet premiere.
That evening, Crowe and Bloom returned to Louisville, where the film shot for six weeks. There, they joined many state officials for a second premiere and after-party at Louisville's historic Brown Hotel (which plays itself in the film).
On Sunday, September 18, Crowe and Bloom took a road trip down the I-65 corridor -- which also plays a role in the film -- to Nashville, TN, for a third event. Hosted by Country Music Television, the Nashville premiere featured a live outdoor concert by Patty Griffin and I Nine, who performed their songs from the soundtrack. The event was attended by Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black, Ashley Judd, Wynonna Judd, Kate Bosworth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, Nancy Wilson, Sara Evans, LeAnn Rimes, Tony Brown, Craig Morgan, and many others.
Paramount Pictures will have satellite coverage of all three events, including B-Roll of the three premieres and coverage of the live concert.
