Gretchen Wilson Instructed by Doctor to Take Vocal Rest
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- From Michele Schweitzer, (Gretchen Wilson's publicist), on behalf of Gretchen Wilson:
"Gretchen has been instructed by her doctor to take a vocal rest. There is nothing urgent about her condition. She has been working non-stop for 15 months and this is the best time for her to take a rest. She has fulfilled all her commitments for the release of her new album, All Jacked Up (The Today Show, Live! with Regis & Kelly, Canadian press, radio satellite tour, etc..) and will perform, as scheduled, tonight at the Virginia State Fair.
The 2 dates that have been moved are Huntsville, Alabama from October 7th to December 17th 2005 ... and Perry, Georgia on October 8th which has been canceled with the hope of rescheduling in 2006.
Gretchen will begin The Revolution Tour, with Big & Rich and the Musik Mafia on November 4th in Houston, Texas."
