Collegiate 'One-on-One' Doubles Championships to Premiere on Fox College Sports
TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Coach Ed Krass, founder of "One-on-One" Doubles and Director of the College Tennis Academy, has produced two, 30-minute television shows for Fox College Sports.
"One-on-One" Doubles is a half-court, serve-and-volley competition played between two players. All balls are played crosscourt with the alleys included. Points rotate from the deuce court to the ad court. The server must serve-and-volley on both first and second serves. "'One-on-One' Doubles is exciting to watch. Every point displays aggressive net play," says Ed Krass.
The first show, which premiers on Fox College Sports (FCS Atlantic) on Sunday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, will highlight the Men's and Women's Finals of the Florida Collegiate "One-on-One" Doubles Tournament. The tournament was held September 9-11 at Florida Gulf Coast University. The show re-airs on FCS Central on Monday, October 10 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time and FCS Pacific on Wednesday, October 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
The second show, which premiers on Fox College Sports (FCS Atlantic) on Sunday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time, will highlight the Men's Final of the Alabama Collegiate "One-on-One" Doubles Tournament. This tournament was part of the Crimson Tide Fall Championships held September 16-18 at the University of Alabama. The show re-airs on FCS Central Monday, October 17 at 12 p.m. Eastern Time and FCS Pacific on Wednesday, October 19 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
