Seattle-Area Chefs Showcase Recipes on the Bite Cooks! Exclusively on Comcast on Demand

Viewers Can Pause, Rewind, or Fast Forward the Program as 28 of Seattle's Top Chefs Demonstrate Recipes on Demand

SEATTLE, August 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Seattle-area celebrity chefs from more than two dozen popular restaurants including Palisade, The Herbfarm and Salty's on Alki demonstrate their entrees and reveal culinary secrets in an exclusive series available only on Comcast ON DEMAND. The Bite Cooks!, showcasing 28 Seattle-area chefs from the Bite of Seattle, airs over the next eleven weeks and is available free to Comcast Digital Cable subscribers.

Comcast Digital Cable customers can use ON DEMAND to access more than 3,000 hours of programs. With Comcast ON DEMAND, customers have total control, with the ability to rewind, fast-forward and pause programs. In addition to exclusive local programs, viewers can choose from popular movies, music videos, sports, news, instructional and previously syndicated programming. An on-screen channel guide makes selecting Comcast ON DEMAND content quick and easy and comes with custom parental controls.

Fourteen different programs, with two chefs in each segment, air over eleven weeks. New shows will be added every Monday throughout August and September. Among the featured chefs are: Daisley Gordon, Campagne; John Howie, Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar; Thierry Rautureau, Rover's; Eric Larson, Shamiana; Jerry Traunfeld, Herbfarm; and, Renatto Medranda, Coldwater Bar and Grill.

In addition to The Bite Cooks!, Comcast ON DEMAND features other Western Washington neighborhood festivals, sports programming including Seattle Supersonics, Seahawks, Thunderbirds and Sounders as well as local high school sports.
