Harris Corporation Names Les Wyatt Vice President of Broadcast Communications Division's Software Systems Business

Appointment Furthers Company Charter to Be Global Leader in Total Content Delivery Solutions

CINCINNATI, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Harris Corporation's (NYSE:HRS) Broadcast Communications Division today announced the appointment of software industry veteran Les Wyatt as vice president and general manager of its Software Systems business unit. Wyatt, who will be based in Denver, brings more than 28 years of management experience in leading technology companies to Harris' growing broadcast, enterprise and government customer base. He will oversee the global operations of the Harris Software Systems business, with product lines in advertising, automation, broadband, digital asset management and media management, and further Harris' mission to provide open, integrated, enterprise-wide workflow systems for any operation that creates, manages, and distributes rich media.

Previously, Wyatt was the group vice president and general manager of EnterpriseOne at PeopleSoft, a business focused on the manufacturing industrial sector. Prior to his position at PeopleSoft, Wyatt held positions with J.D. Edwards, Harbinger, and Texas Instruments. Wyatt received a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Arizona State University.
