LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Limbaugh continues beating liberal talkers at the ratings game, according to the Arbitron Spring 2005 ratings survey for Seattle and Denver. Heard Monday through Friday on KTTH-AM from 9 a.m. - noon in Seattle, The Rush Limbaugh Show scored, among Persons 12+, a 4.8 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 28,800 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he has a 2.6 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 9,600 listeners. Mr. Franken, who airs at the same time on KPTK-AM, has a Persons 12+ share of 2.2 with an average quarter-hour audience of 13,000 listeners. With Adults 25-54, he has a 2.1 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 7,600 listeners. Mr. Jerry Springer also airs in the market on Sundays only.

In addition to Mr. Limbaugh and Mr. Franken, below are numbers for Mr. Ed Schultz who broadcasts in a different timeslot:

The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday from noon - 3 p.m. on KOA-AM in Denver, scored a 6.7 share among Persons 12+, with an average quarter-hour audience of 31,500 listeners. Among Adults 25-54, he holds a 4.6 share with an average quarter-hour audience of 13,400 listeners. Mr. Franken and Mr. Schultz also air in the market Monday through Friday, but in different timeslots. Mr. Springer does not have an affiliate in this market.

In Indianapolis, the three liberal talkers previously mentioned do not have affiliates in the market. However, The Rush Limbaugh Show, heard Monday through Friday from 1 - 4 p.m. on WIBC-AM is, for Persons 12+, the #1 show in its timeslot and #2 for Adults 25-54. For Persons 12+, Mr. Limbaugh's audience is up 23 percent from the Winter Arbitron 2005 ratings survey and is up 14 percent from one year ago. For Adults 25-54, his audience is up 43 percent from the Winter Arbitron 2005 ratings survey and up 30 percent from one year ago.

Known as the media pundit who reshaped the political landscape with his entertaining and informative brand of conservatism, Mr. Limbaugh is also widely credited with resuscitating AM radio by many industry experts.
