Two Dominick's Customers Win 'Incredibles' Makeover

WHAT: Two lucky Dominick's customers -- Janet Metzger of Chicago and Lisa Thompson-Marshall of Lake Villa -- were among 10 national winners for The Incredibles-themed room makeovers valued at approximately $10,000 each as part of Safeway's The Incredibles Sweepstakes. [Safeway is the parent company of Dominick's.]

The first makeover (Lake Villa - Lisa Thompson-Marshall) starts on Sunday, July 17, and will be finished on Monday evening, July 18. The second (Chicago - Janet Metzger) starts on Tuesday, July 19, and will be finished on Wednesday afternoon, July 20.

There will be a celebration party for the winners on Wednesday, July 20, at the Dominick's Store located at 2550 N. Clybourn featuring personalities from Radio Disney as well as special giveaways.

Additional Information: The winners will receive one complete children's room makeover themed after the movie The Incredibles, a Disney presentation of a Pixar film. The conversion, with variations for boys and girls, will include a custom wall painting by Jonny Kwan, a Disney artist; a complete set of bedding (including mattress and box spring); The Incredibles custom headboard and sleeping bag; a Disney television, boombox, and VCR/DVD player; a DVD of the production; and an assortment of other room accessories to round out the prize package. The value of each makeover package is approximately $10,000.

Safeway's The Incredibles promotion took place in late 2004. Customers were entered in the sweepstakes when they used their Club Card while purchasing eligible Safeway brand products. Ten grand prizes have been awarded.
