TAMMY FAYE: DEATH DEFYING Premieres Monday, July 25 at 10pm ET

NEW YORK, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Beloved television personality, Tammy Faye Messner, has announced that she is once again battling cancer. Tammy will begin treatment in August and believes she will beat the disease as she has before. As Tammy prepares for treatment, WE: Women's Entertainment will premiere the inspirational documentary TAMMY FAYE: DEATH DEFYING, Monday, July 25 at 10:00pm ET.

The 90-minute documentary, taped over a six-month period in 2004, explores former televangelist Tammy Faye Messner's battle with inoperable, stage 4 cancer. Following Tammy from diagnosis, through treatment, to remission, the show offers viewers a personal look at one woman's courageous fight to survive, and now a glimpse of what she is about to face once more.
