Shari Howard Named Vice President, Sponsored Promotions, TV Land and Nick at Nite

NEW YORK, July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Shari Howard has joined TV Land & Nick at Nite as Vice President, Sponsored Promotions, it was announced today by Rob Pellizzi, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Promotions, TV Land & Nick at Nite.

In this New York-based position, Howard will be responsible for overseeing TV Land and Nick at Nite's growing Sponsored Promotions group. She will help both networks continue to deliver brand-appropriate creative and strategic ideas to their clients, including off-the-shelf as well as custom promotions. Howard will also oversee all product placement and branded entertainment idea development for the networks.

"Shari brings a wealth of experience after having helped grow advertiser sponsorships at TBS and TNT in Atlanta over the past eleven years," states Pellizzi. Prior to joining TV Land & Nick at Nite, Howard worked as Director of Sponsorships and Promotion at TBS and TNT, Marketing Operations, where she developed strategic, targeted, customized marketing solutions for advertisers to help generate Ad Sales Revenue. Some of the customized promotions she helped create included Kimberly-Clark Kleenex Tearjerker Franchise, Ambien Late Night Theater Franchise and Wendy's Late Night Lounge.

Prior to that she was Director of Ad Sales Promotion, TNT On-Air Creative, where she consulted with producers and agencies to write sponsored on-air copy and approved all on-air promotion elements with sponsor logos or mentions. Before that, she was Manager of Sponsored Programming, Sales Strategic Planning.

A native of Ohio, Howard is a graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in Telecommunications and Spanish. She currently lives in Manhattan.
