The Popular TV Show, OVERHAULIN', Seen on The Learning Channel Undergoes an Extreme OVERHAULIN' This Summer, Compliments of Al & Ed's Autosound

Southern California's Largest Mobile Electronics and Communications Specialist to Provide 'Extreme' Mobile Electronic Installations

VAN NUYS, Calif., July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Mobile Electronics, the renowned specialist at Al & Ed's Autosound, is lending his mobile electronic expertise to seasoned Al & Ed's auto extremist, Travis Preciado, head stereo designer on OVERHAULIN', for the duration of the popular show on The Learning Channel (TLC), airing Tuesday nights at 8:00 PM. In the show's third season, starting on July 19, 2005, Preciado leads the stereo team in designing, managing and installing customized Audio Systems donated by Al & Ed's Autosound in selected renovated cars (95' Chevy Tahoe airing July 19, 69' Roadrunner airing July 26, '55 Chevy Bel Air airing August 2) for a complete electronics make over.

"OVERHAULIN' is a 24/7 effort from the whole team," says a tired looking Travis Preciado. "Although the work was grueling, it was a great experience for us to become involved with such a creative show." Al & Ed's happily took up TLC's invitation to participate in the show, affording them the opportunity to show off what over 50 years of expertise in Mobile Electronics can accomplish. One of the producers of the show, Chad Marshall, comments, "The Al & Ed's team is unbelievably talented, working automotive magic on the audio transformations."

"Often people are unaware of what a little tweaking from our experts can do. The outside of the car may not be much, but once we get our hands on the inside, the whole vehicle becomes a resounding surprise with just a turn of a door handle," said Gabi Mashal, President of Al & Ed's Autosound. "Customization is the key to our success. There are no limits to the possibilities, as you will see on OVERHAULIN'"

Using some of Al & Ed's most extreme gadgets in the cars, becomes the focus of many of the show's makeovers. In addition to installing audio devices, Al & Ed's equips the cars with various electronics, ranging from DVD players to navigation systems with real-time traffic reports -- gadgets that provide a more extreme ride.

With over 50 years under its "hood" of providing and installing innovating mobile electronics, Al & Ed's Autosound understands the need for a complete revamp and renovation of defunct and outmoded cars. Long before Americans began compulsively customizing and outfitting their cars, Al & Ed's embarked on finding the most seamless approach for installing the hottest gadgets of the day and, over the course of the years, has become recognized as the authority on mobile electronics for consumers, industry professionals and the media, alike.
