SUR Peru Now Available On DIRECTV PARA TODOS(R) Programming

First Peruvian Channel in U.S. Launches Today

WHAT: SUR Peru, the first channel dedicated to providing Peruvians in the United States with programming from their home country, is now available on DIRECTV for DIRECTV PARA TODOS(R) customers who subscribe to the OPCION EXTRA(TM) package ($29.99 per month) and above. OPCION COMERCIAL(TM) and OPCION COMERCIAL ULTRA(TM) will also carry SUR Peru.

The channel is provided to DIRECTV via an exclusive, multi-year agreement with SUR Corporation, and will include all of the top-rated Peruvian programming content from No. 1 television stations America TV, Canal N and Frecuencia Latina for rebroadcast in the United States.

The channel will offer 100 percent Peruvian content 24-hours-a-day that includes comedies, games shows, sportscasts, theater productions, news, talk shows, political programs and financial newsmagazines.

WHEN: The channel launches today, Wednesday, June 22.

WHERE: SUR Peru will be available on viewer channel 429.
