Starz Entertainment Group Announces New Hires in Creative Services and Business Affairs

Michael Gallegos Returns and Michelle Ohryn Added

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) announced today the hiring of Michael Gallegos as director, On Demand promotion and production, and the addition of Michelle Ohryn as executive director, business affairs programming. Both will work out of the corporate headquarters in Englewood, Colo.

Gallegos returns to SEG as director, On Demand promotion and production. In his new position he oversees promotion and content production for Starz On Demand, the on-demand enhancement to SEG's flagship Starz and Encore movie channels. Gallegos reports to Che Che Mata, senior vice president, creative services.

Gallegos came to SEG in 1998 as an associate producer and left in June 2004 as senior producer, creative services to help launch Altitude Sports & Entertainment. While there, Gallegos was director of creative services where his duties included brand management, launch planning and all on-air promotional and creative efforts for Altitude, Stan Kroenke's regional sports network, home to the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.

Gallegos has a BA in speech communication from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He currently resides in Parker with his wife, Sara, and two sons, Mateo and Luca.

Ohryn was hired as executive director, business affairs programming. In this position, her responsibilities include managing legal and business affairs for the advanced services group and the acquisitions and programming departments. Ohryn reports to Richard Turner, vice president, business affairs programming.

Ohryn comes to SEG from Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. where she was executive director, business and legal affairs. While there, she supported Sony Pictures Digital Inc. and its digital efforts, including various online initiatives and the Sony Media Software Group.

A graduate from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in history and political science, Ohryn went on to receive her MBA from Graziadio School of Business and Management, and in 1997 she received her JD at Pepperdine School of Law. She currently resides in Denver.
