Complementary Competitors Come Together to Create State-of-the-art Full-service Television Production Facility

WASHINGTON, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Skehan Communications Group and East Coast Television announced today the decision to join forces as one company under one management team, in a mutually beneficial and exclusive business alliance, set to launch July 1.

Twenty-five-year-old Skehan Communications Group will combine its depth of clientele and experience in video production with the resources and knowledge of the much younger East Coast Television.

Both companies will operate under the East Coast Television banner with Barry O'Donnell, Chief Operating Officer, ECTV, heading up the new entity. Michael Skehan becomes Vice President, Mobile Productions & Engineering Services, with responsibility for all engineering for the combined companies as well as mobile production services. The new company will be based at 1919 M Street in Washington, DC the current headquarters of ECTV. Monetary exchanges and financial agreements of the deal have not been disclosed.

Services offered will include single and multi-camera field production, satellite unlinking and down linking, live remote broadcasting, web casting, and video editing services, broadcast equipment rental, crewing, studio production as well as providing news and event coverage for distribution worldwide.
