Scientific-Atlanta and Sprint Sign Distribution Agreement

- New agreement further extends the availability of Scientific-Atlanta products to independent telco operators -

CHICAGO, June 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SUPERCOMM 2005 -- Scientific- Atlanta announced today that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Sprint North Supply, Sprint's deployment, distribution and logistics division, for products that deliver essential capabilities for the growing telco video market. Sprint North Supply's product portfolio will now include Scientific- Atlanta's fiber-to-the-X (FTTX) optical video transport products, a wide range of video headend products and advanced digital set-tops.

- Video headend products: satellite receivers, modulators and decoder modules. - FTTH optical video transport products: Prisma II(TM) FTTH transmitters, FTTH optical amplifiers, optical switching and passive devices. - Advanced digital set-tops: Full range of DVR and HD models.
