Maryline Blackburn to Perform at Local Fundraiser

Local Luminaries Help Celebrate Local Artist's Debut CD

ATLANTA, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryline Blackburn will sing "I'll Give You Roses" and other favorites during her performance at Rebuilding Together- Atlanta. This performance to be held Sunday, June 26 from 6:30pm-10:00pm at Olive's Waterside in Atlanta launches Maryline's debut CD entitled "Maryline."

Maryline Blackburn, a former Miss Alaska and a seasoned international performer, has opened for and performed with for such entertainment legends as Bob Hope, Cab & Chris Calloway, The Platters, Celine Deon, Peabo Bryson, Phyllis Hyman and the group Exile. Maryline's musical style can best be described as progressive country. Her unique style incorporates elements of urban contemporary, main stream pop, country and western, and a touch of deep spiritual Gospel Music.

The proceeds from Miss Blackburn's performance will go to one of Maryline's favorite non-profit organizations: Rebuilding Together-Atlanta. Rebuilding Together works with low-income homeowners, particularly older adults, people with disabilities and multi-generational families, to help them live in comfort, safety and independence.

Rebuilding Together-Atlanta is an affiliate of the nation's largest volunteer home repair organization, whose mission is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities.

The evening will also welcome special guest appearances by several of Atlanta's premier television personalities as well as some of our favorite local professional athletes. Tickets for this event are $35.00 and are available at the door.
