Maggie Bellville Partners With Executive Search Firm to Help Fuel Growth in Cable and Telecommunications Industries

Former COO of Charter Communications Joins Atlanta-based CarterBaldwin

ATLANTA, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Filling a key need in the robust and highly competitive cable and telecommunications industries, Maggie Bellville, former COO of Charter Communications, has signed on as a partner at fast-growing CarterBaldwin, an Atlanta-based executive search firm. Managing Director Jennifer Poole made the announcement about the newest member of CarterBaldwin's executive team where Bellville will also provide strategic consulting services.

In anticipation of the strong business growth needs driven by the latest consumer-focused technology advancements, Bellville will bring a highly honored cable and telecommunications career, where, among many achievements, as a Fortune 500 COO she was recognized for her hiring and development of some of the industry's most senior executives.

Prior to her new appointment, Bellville served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Charter Communications, where she was responsible for all company field operations, as well as marketing, programming, customer care and advertising sales.

Prior to Charter Communications, Bellville was President and CEO of Incanta, Inc., a technology-based streaming content company based in Atlanta. She was recruited in 1995 by Cox Communications, Inc., as Vice President of Operations, and advanced over six years to Executive Vice President of Operations with responsibility for that company's operating divisions -- marketing, advertising sales, customer care, research & analysis, business services, and business operations.

Her career in telecommunications has spanned a range of services from residential telephony to wireless, and from operations to consumer products sales. Bellville has served in a variety of management positions with the former GTE Wireless/Contel Cellular, Inc. and at AT&T and New York Telephone.
