AUSTIN, Texas, May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Andy Roddick, America's number #1 tennis player and recent Arthur Ashe Humanitarian Award winner was joined by music legend, Sir Elton John, for the first "Champions for Charity" gala hosted by the Andy Roddick Foundation to benefit youth in need. Calculations indicate that nearly $900 thousand dollars was raised at the event, which took place on April 26 in Austin, Texas.
