Pageant Contestants Will Be Pampered During a Steve Madden Hosted Spa Day at the Hippodrome Theatre on April 9th
BALTIMORE, April 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Steven Madden, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SHOO), a leading designer, wholesaler and marketer of fashion footwear for women, men and children, today announced it will be the official footwear sponsor for the 54th annual MISS USA pageant that will broadcast on April 11th on NBC at 9pm EST.
Steve Madden has created a shoe specially designed to be worn by each of the 51 contestants. This year's featured style is the "Anitaa," a red and nude sandal which will be available in all Steve Madden retail stores and at stevemadden.com. This year's winner will receive a $3,000 cash prize, and a shoe wardrobe courtesy of Steve Madden.
Last year's winner, Shandi Finnessy, received her prize at Steve Madden's SoHo store in New York City on February 28th. Shandi's visit to Steve Madden will air during this year's pageant telecast.
The Steve Madden Spa Day will take place on Saturday April 9th from 1 - 2:15pm at the Hippodrome Theatre. Massages, spa cuisine -- the works!! Pageant contestants will be gifted the "Mystique" flip flop and skin care products by i-bella.

MISS USA 2005 will broadcast live April 11th on NBC from Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre. The telecast will be hosted by Billy Bush and Nancy O'Dell of Access Hollywood. This year's judges include: fashion model Nicola Breytenbach, fashion designer Pamela Dennis, beauty expert and style guru Fredric Fekkai, Raj Bhakta of NBC's The Apprentice, Brody Hutzler of NBC's Days of our Lives, Sugar Ray Leonard of NBC's The Contender, gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps and model Molly Sims.
