ShopKo Stores Announces Interim Management Team
GREEN BAY, Wis., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ShopKo Stores, Inc. (NYSE:SKO), today announced its board of directors has appointed a three- person management committee to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company. The committee is made up of senior vice president and chief financial officer Brian W. Bender, senior vice president and chief merchandising officer Paul G. White and Pamida president Michael J. Hopkins.
The committee will report to the board of directors and will lead the company pending the completion of the proposed merger involving ShopKo Stores, Inc. and an affiliate of Minneapolis-based private equity investment firm Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison Incorporated.
