SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Consejo de Latinos Unidos, a national non-profit organization which educates and assists Latinos and others, will honor renowned conductor Efrain Guigui at a reception hosted by his family and friend Archie Lamb, the well-respected health care attorney, Saturday evening, April 2, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. AST (7:00 p.m. EST) at the Ritz Carlton San Juan, El Caribe Room, 6961 Avenue of the Governors, Isla Verde, Carolina. Efrain Guigui, whose experience includes conducting the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra at the Casals Festival and serving as Music Director of the Vermont State Symphony Orchestra, the Dartmouth College Symphony Orchestra, and the Panama National Symphony, has premiered a great number of contemporary works and was honored with the prestigious Ditson Conductors Award.
