Lea Porteneuve Named Vice President, Publicity Universal Studios Home Entertainment
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Lea Porteneuve has been named Vice President of Publicity for Universal Studios Home Entertainment, it was announced today by Vivian Mayer, Senior Vice President, Publicity.
In her newly created role, Ms. Porteneuve will work closely with Ms. Mayer on internal and external corporate communications matters and will oversee publicity efforts for the home entertainment releases of Focus Features titles, as well as the Company's television and made-for-DVD properties. She reports directly to Ms. Mayer.

Prior to joining USHE, Ms. Porteneuve served as a public relations consultant. Previously, she spent close to a decade at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, where she advanced to Vice President, Corporate Communications. At MGM, she created and implemented diversified strategic internal and external communications initiatives and served as a corporate spokesperson.
Ms. Porteneuve came to MGM from Sherman Oaks-based public relations firm CS Communications, where she worked as a publicist. She began her career as a junior publicist with boutique firm MKM & Associates.
Ms. Porteneuve holds a bachelor's degree in journalism/public relations from California State University, Long Beach.
