Heineken USA Teams up With V-103/WAOK to Support the United Negro College Fund's Emergency Music Scholarship Awards

- $10,000 Grant to Benefit Graduating Seniors at Atlanta University Center Schools -

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Heineken USA's THMI (The Heineken Music Initiative) is proud to announce that it has donated $10,000 to the United Negro College Fund's (UNCF) Emergency Assistance Scholarship Fund (EASF). EASF awards are bestowed upon deserving students attending Atlanta University Center schools during the final semester of their senior year, so that they may pay their outstanding balances at their places of study for graduation requirements. These institutions include Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College and The Interdenominational Theological Center. The donation reinforces Heineken's longstanding commitment to developing new musical talent and its efforts of supporting the performing arts. The donation was recently made at a ceremony at V-103/WAOK's headquarters in downtown Atlanta. The radio station has a long history of supporting the UNCF, raising money for its education- and music-focused initiatives.
