Drug Free Pennsylvania Fills Positions of Executive Director and Health Communications Director

HARRISBURG, Pa., April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- April 1, 2005 marked the addition of two new employees to the staff at Drug Free Pennsylvania.

Robert A. Quigley has been appointed by the board of directors to serve as the new Executive Director and General Counsel and Kristen M. Sandusky was selected as Health Communications Director. Both individuals bring a cadre of diverse skills and unique professional experiences to the organization.

Mr. Quigley has worked as an attorney in both private practice and as corporate counsel providing advice and counseling for management on drug-free workplace issues and policies. He brings a depth of experience in health care and employment law as well as knowledge of substance abuse prevention and treatment issues. In addition has served as a board member for a local non-profit agency.

Mr. Quigley has replaced acting Executive Director Faith Erb-Elliot, who served in that capacity for the past three months. The staff and board of directors of Drug Free Pennsylvania would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms. Erb-Elliot for her efforts and leadership during the interim period.

Ms. Sandusky brings to the organization a history of professional experience in drug and alcohol awareness/education/prevention and training as well as community development/community relationship building around public health related issues.

Representing Drug Free Pennsylvania in acknowledging April 7, 2005 as National Alcohol Screening Day, Mr. Quigley will appear and serve as one of four panelists on the television show, "It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle" featured on CN8 The Comcast Network. The show's topic for the evening will focus on alcohol use, abuse, and alcoholism. "It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle" is an issues-oriented talk show that tackles national headlines at the regional and local levels. The show is scheduled to air live the evening of April 7, 2005 - (Eastern Daylight Time) from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
