Comcast Also Listed Among the 25 Notable Companies for Diversity

PHILADELPHIA, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)(NASDAQ:CMCSK) was named one of the Top 10 Companies for Supplier Diversity by DiversityInc Magazine, and listed among the 25 Notable Companies for Diversity. In the survey's fifth year, it remains the only in-depth analysis of corporate diversity, compiling a substantial and valid metrics that assesses diversity success nationally.

DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies for Diversity honors the top 50 out of the 203 participating companies, dedicated to diversity in four main categories: human capital, CEO commitment, corporate communications and supplier diversity. The more than 200 question survey is also the basis for subsequent top 10 lists, including the Top 10 Companies for Supplier Diversity. In Comcast's first year participating in the survey, it is listed among the 25 Notable Companies for Diversity, and ranked number 7 in the list of the top 10 companies recognized for supplier diversity.

Comcast also facilitates partnerships between vendors when a relationship may be beneficial for all parties involved.
