Whoa! With Mo - Mo Rocca Hosts Animal Planet's New Destination Night WHOA! SUNDAY
SILVER SPRING, Md., March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Author, actor, correspondent, commentator and general funnyman Mo Rocca has signed on to host Animal Planet's new destination night WHOA! SUNDAY, a two-hour block, from 8-10 PM (ET), beginning Sunday, March 27. These new family-friendly specials are designed for viewers to settle in on the couch to experience a broad range of "whoa!" moments: from the sudden "whoa!" of watching a cheetah run at lightning speed to the awestruck "whoa!" of a fire-breathing dragon to the laughing "whoa!" of seeing nature's cuddliest creatures at play.
Known for his hilarious commentary and tongue-in-cheek news reports, Mo will be featured in interstitial wraps, conducting topical man-on-the-street interviews and quizzes about anything from animal communication to massive animal migration to famous movie animals.

Mo Rocca, former correspondent for Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, current contributor to NBC's Today show and Tonight Show, is known for his tongue-in-cheek news reports and hilarious commentary. Rocca is also regularly seen on VH1's popular cultural series I Love the 70s, I Love the 80s and I Love the 90s. A regular panelist on NPR's Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me!, Rocca is also a frequent commentator for CNN's Larry King Live, MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Oberman, and the Fox News Channel. He is also the author of All the Presidents' Pets: The Story of One Reporter Who Refused to Roll Over, published by Crown in 2004.
