Table Mountain Casino Celebrates Its 18th Anniversary

Table Mountain Casino Celebrates Its 18th Anniversary FRESNO, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chukchansi-Mono Band of Indians and Table Mountain Casino management celebrate 18 years of growth and prosperity. With hopes that the next 18 years yield the same success, Table Mountain Casino plans to continue to expand its facility to not only meet, but also surpass guests' comfort and entertainment needs. "Table Mountain Casino has achieved so much growth in a relatively short timeframe and we will continue our strategic growth plans to assure that we continue to bring an even greater level of exciting gaming and entertainment opportunities to our guests by continuing that tradition," said Casino President John Mayewski. "We are initiating plans of phased growth that will better define and communicate our Casino brand to Central California over the next several years. It is very exciting to see the continued evolution of such a well-founded and strong organization." Table Mountain Rancheria was established in the early 1900s to house several dislocated Native American families in the Friant-Winchell Creek area. In 1959, the people of Table Mountain Rancheria -- along with many other small tribes in California -- lost their federal recognition as Native Americans. For two decades, the tribes appealed to the government to restore their rights. Finally, in 1983, the people of Table Mountain Rancheria regained their tribal status. Five years later, they opened a bingo hall. Though it started small, that bingo hall would eventually grow into what is now the successful tribal-owned gaming operation known as Table Mountain Casino. Located just 15 minutes outside of Fresno on Friant Road, Table Mountain Casino now features more gaming excitement than ever with bingo, over 35 table games including Blackjack, Fortune Pai Gow, No Limit Hold'em Poker, Spanish 21, 3-Card Poker, and Let it Ride, as well as 2,000 slot machines. In the last quarter of 2004, Table Mountain Casino expanded its gaming floor with an additional 5,000 square feet, providing guests with more comfort to play their favorite table games. With this expansion, the Casino also upgraded with totally new slot titles and more brand new, big money slot machines than ever, including a variety of new slot machines with top titles like Men In Black, Mr. Cashman, Lotsa Sevens, and dozens more. Plus, the hottest new five-reel games, like Double Diamond and Double Diamond Run and this is just the beginning! For an award-winning dining experience, casino patrons can visit Table Mountain Casino's state-of-the-art restaurants, Eagles Landing for elegant dining and Mountain Feast for a 24-hour all-you-can-eat buffet from around the world; both restaurants feature an international and regional dining experience. For guests who join The Club, it pays to play at Table Mountain Casino. By simply playing their favorite slots or table games, Club members earn points they can convert into cash. The points add up quickly, especially on Tuesdays and Sundays when members earn double points. Members also receive special discounts on everything from Casino merchandise and restaurant meals to exciting Casino concerts and sporting events. Every weekday between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., the Casino will give away $500. Each day, excluding holidays, ten random members of The Club with their rewards card in play will win $50.
